This little baby of mine has this lump. I wish I could post videos on here because the lump moves like a human baby inside the womb. Any ideas ?

I have experience removing botfly from dogs. We got one out of a dogs face once, it was gnarly and not easy. You wanna sufficate the larva, it has to breathe thru a little hole that you will see bubbles coming from. We used lube to sufficate it so it would come out far enough to grab it with forceps (big tweezers), easier said than done but that's the move. Then you'll want to flush that wound pretty good!

It looks like a hernia where the intestines are passing food. The gizzard may be felt as a had object behind the intestines. The danger with a large hernia, is that it can be pecked or injured, and also that the intestines can become strangulated. I found a feral kitten once who developed a hernia. I kept reducing the hernia each day with my finger, and on the 4 th day it stayed inside and closed over. Most hernias require surgery to close the muscle wall. Chickens are not very good candidates for surgery or anesthesia, and most of us have a hard time finding a vet. Cost would be huge. Do you have a farm vet who might help? Let us know what happens.
