This little guy came into my life this past Monday morning!

Future duck hunter?!

His room is done all in ducks with cattails painted on the walls! Taxidermy bill went up to decorate his room!

6 lbs 13 oz, 21 inches long. Happy and healthy! Carter, and he is our first... He doesn't stand a chance, duck hunting and airboats will be his life!

Wonderful! Enjoy your little man. I didn't believe my mother, but this stage is wonderful. You put them down and they stay put! But that said, the ONLY thing I truly miss about those baby days is when they snuggle on your chest or neck and go to sleep. That is Trust! I gladly hold any friends' sleeping babies just to feel that little body draped over my shoulder!

Oh, one last thing: measure his feet against the palm of your hand. When you help him with shoes and socks or pick up a stray shoe, you'll be amazed at how he is growing!
