I did this with one of the chicks, he it now happy, and just has minor mental problems. Dont recommend it i took 24 hours for me). Plus the little guy is imprinted on me and is super friendly. I had to hand feed and water him, no one thought he would live but I regenerated him back to full health.

Some of the comments are crazy. A shrink wrapped chick isn't going anywhere. If they were actually experts like they claim to be they would have known that when the membrane dries out it hardens and is almost impossible for the chick to break. I'm glad this forum is the way it is. Youtube and yahoo comments make me sick...
