Honestly, I seriously doubt that the FBI is worried about our chickens, they are not overly worried about hawks, independent thinkers or farmers who own guns for normal reasons, they’re worried about much bigger fish (not chickens). However, if there's a BYC member, who has chickens and loves them, but is also an employee of their state's Fish and Game, or a National Park Ranger or some such, who sees a post about someone who killed a hawk or eagle, I'd say they'd be in a real spot about what to do about it. Depending on their job, they may be in a real moral dilemma about what to do with the information. There are legal ways of dissuading predators and protecting your livestock etc.

I think we SHOULD all be aware of the laws about predatory birds, and respect them, (no, I’m not just saying that, I do believe it). If by some chance anyone takes an action which is not particularly legal, consider that there are people here who would be put under conflict if you post (read BRAG) about it here.
