Then, I would go ahead and start them all on Corid ASAP. Make sure their water is very clean at all times.

Looks like Cocci. Just to give you a heads-up, if one gets it, usually it goes through the group that your chick is with. I do give my chicks Sulmet and it clears right up.

How many days did it take to clear up? These chicks are supposed to go to a new home on Thursday or Wednessday. We just gave them the sulmet this morning.

Maxx it looks more like shedding of their intestinal lining. I had that too and found a thread on here with great pics. I will try and find it.

If it is the shedding, it is not a problem.

No bloody poop today from what I have seen!!! We have put sulmet in the other waterers for the adult chickens too just in case.

I went to check for eggs and I saw this in the coop where the adults are. The adults have been on Sulmet for about 2 days. Everybody has been on Sulmet. The chicks are in a separate coop where they can not interact with each other. HELP.

I believe i have read that cocci can seem a little worse before it gets better when sulmet is the medication. I hope someone will check me on that. But that's what i remember.

How big is that blood pool?

Poor Max! Make sure they have some probiotics too to help them re-regulate. Give them some yogurt or probiotic powder in a treat like oatmeal.
