I see these types of things and do give a little benefit to the owner because you never know what type of person the owner is and what problems they may have. And the benefit I give them is, they are taking the right steps in giving the dog up.
Medical problems, old age, mental problems etc....good thing is the dog is being re-homed so that is a good thing. And sometimes people won't go for help or literally have no one to help.
But yea, the ad sounds wierd to most of us.
