This seems like a silly question, but is this a rooster?

Yup, most Americans eat white eggs. I know some people who thought brown eggs were boring dyed eggs.

This is the range of egg colors I normally get. The one of the left is green tinted and the one just to the right of it is white.

You can see how white it is in this picture I took the demonstrates how green, my green eggs are.

Well dang.

About the only other way to know if that bird is laying would be to pen it up and see is an egg shows up. Maybe sectioning off a spot in the coop so it still feels relaxed.

Any more crowing from it?

Yeah, I don't have anything to separate her/him I only have a small coop and then they free range in the orchard during the day.

Saw some more crowing this morning :| starting to think it's a feminine rooster rather than a masculine hen.
