This Turkey Mommy is proud... Captain is starting to strut!

Captain our mixed turkey is starting to strut and I'm so excited!!! He hatched the first week in August...

It's not the best picture but he doesn't do it on cue for me LOL! Does this mean Captain is a male?

It could but females will also strut. Usually you have to wait until at least the 10th weeks to get a clue then by the 15th weeks it more obvious

He's still young... but I'm so excited! We finally let him out with the other birds and they are doing great! The turks are still very timid.
