This WAS gonna be a rant, but now I am just concerned

This lady has a serious problem that eventually will get her hurt or killed!
She's an addict and until she decides to change there is nothing you can do for her.

Debi, I know it would bother you a great deal if something DID (bad)happen. Just try to tell yourself you did warn her and try not to feel guilty. Hope for the best.

I have no guilty feelings about her at all. I don't really even like her! But she is a human, and I just can't believe she would be so stupid. She didn't tell anyone exactly where she was going.... I haven never known anyone that has put themselves in a situation like that, especially at 46 years old!

I would call her house. See if she really is gone. If so, ask hubby where she went?

I would also write down everything she might have told me about the guy...just in case.

Thing is... she doesn't care about anything. She doesn't care about her hubby of 26 years, doesn't care about her life, so that being said, she probably doesn't care about what the consequences could be, no matter what you said

I guess my thought is... if she doesn't care, don't bother yourself..

back in my wilder days I have been known to be at least that stupid, several times over and lived to tell of it. I even had some REALLY great times and made quality friends, sometiems relationships that lasted for months. Sometimes, dinner and done. Nothing bad ever happened, but that was more like ten or fifteen years ago. I wouldn't do it now, just to old and heard too many terrible oucome stories on Court TV and stuff. Young people, DO NOT jump in cars just because I did and it turned out okay. Old people neither! Sam....? that includes you!
