This weekend....... *UPDATED WITH VIDEO*

I have to say that I'm curious. I'd like to see it. I'd like to process for other people and have been watching lots of clips on how it's done. You're culture is different from ours so I'd like to see how it's done. Post away. You'll do a video in English right?

Linkoso, please forgive our rabble rousing - difference of opinion is the way of the web. It does get out of hand

I for one am always interested in how different methods work. I remember seeing my aunt in Ireland stun and bleed, and my grandmother up the road usually swung them in her knuckles by the neck. She could kill two in each hand.

I am very grateful for all the info here on the cone and knife method. It really works for me. So please do post your method!

We blast ours in the head with a 1x2 board before bleeding out. Chickens are pretty easy to knock out. It makes it much easier to get them in the cone, keeps them calm, and they usually don't fully regain consciousness before they die.

I think that sounds better too.
It's bugged me that the birds are conscious with the neck slice too. It sounds too slow. I'd want to gas them with CO2 first or something...lethal injection? LOL

Linkoso please do post pictures or video, there are a lot of us who would like to see how you do it, I am sure most of us are always eager to find the most humane way to do the necessary deed.
Thanks,
Carrie
