Opossums are pretty much in every state in the US and remain unchanged from prehistoric time. They are the ultimate survivor.

my brother shot one 2x with a gun - 22 body was still moving - shot it with a shotgun -= 1/2 the head gone and it was still moving ...yeeksss

I have relocated one myself this winter, we rode around for quite a while before I found just the right spot, far away from any houses and Lots of woods......no need to kill him, he didnt even bother my chickens , I just didnt want to push my luck, he had been sleeping in my coop and I didnt know it till I saw a container if shavings move

The thing about opposums that really grosses me out is the snot that constantly drips from their nose. The recommendations of "Marsooooouuuuupial" is really nasty. What a big gross rat they are. I know we need to clean things up but I just don't want them around me and mine.
