Oh darn I was hopping this peachick was going to be pied, but dark pied is cool too. Here is another picture of it...

It peeps a bunch and eats a lot too and it is starting to use those wings...It flew off the table several times today and it was in my lap and flew to the back of the chair so it could pull my hair. I really hope as it gets older it doesn't continue to enjoy pulling my hair.

Right now it is eating. For now my dad calls it Peep and when it gets too noisy when I am busy in another room I put it in a padded lunchbox with a towel and it snuggles in the towel and falls asleep...At least it is quiet then.

Minxfox nice chick, great thing about darkpied when mated to a white 100% of the chicks will be pied (no whites or darkpieds) best way to get all pieds. again thanks for the drawing.

MinxFox I'm SO excited for you! I am not ready nor set up for peafowl at this time so I am living vicariously through you and the other BYC peafowl owners. I was SO hoping that you would have a succesful hatch after your other short comings previously with incubating.

Congratulations on your new peachick and I can't wait to see what it matures to look like.
