If we hatch roosters here i just put them on craigslist for free or 5 bucks to cover food cost if their older and mine are always gone with 24 hours. I have two roosters i don't need any more.

We have a neighbor who is horrible. She complained we had a few little tikes cozy coupe cars in the front yard last summer. She called on the neighbor across the street for her dog barking. Funny thing was is that we've lived her for three years and never knew the neighbor had a dog. We never saw or heard it.

If you hatch out roosters....which will happen, just list them on craigslist for free or process them (if you feel comfortable with that).

I have a list of a couple farms that will take any roosters that I hatch out. Sometimes I grow too fond of them to process, but I know I cant keep them all.

Thanks everyone. I've been telling my DD that if we hatch a roo then he will have to live somewhere else.

Yep that is how its been done for thousands of years

bUT seriously craigs list, local ads, stock yards, I was suprised how many people show up for roosters , people who prefer free range chickens over le blanc flavored grocery meats and cardboard peaches

this is a silly question, but have to ask. I cant keep a roo in my city either. Going to start incubate for the first time this weekend, so assuming going to get a few roos. What time of the day is the roo usually going to crow, early morning mostly? if so may be I can keep my roo in the garage at night, and bring him out during the day and hope my neighbor is at work and cant hear jack. I told you it is a silly question didnt I? I always want to know the laws, so I can properly break it, lol.
