Thought Caroline Was Dead

I'm so glad to hear that Caroline made it through her most recent Death match with that little pill Panda, Cyn. How is she doing today? Caroline has long been a favorite of mine of your birds. I sure hope she's resting comfortably and not engaging in any more silly shenanigans with girls half her age! I wonder if Panda is in need of a change of flocks to call home. Maybe put her with the boys for awhile!

That might cool her jets a bit!

The main flock, with Ike, was let out to free range this morning, then by 1 p.m., Ike was removed from the flock and put in the hospital cage to chill and the girls are unmolested and being lazy under the coop. Caroline seems okay right now. I still have to figure out what to do with Ike. He really needs more than just his 19 girls--Delaware boys are famous for being able to handle large numbers of women, but this guy takes the cake. Even with all those, he manages to keep some of them barebacked/bare-sided and has his favs.
