I know! It is hard!!!

I got him off Craigslist. The girl that had him only had him for about 2 weeks. She got him from a relative and he lived in an apartment on a balcony!!

She said he was really timid and shy. Well, when she brought him out, he ran up to me and didn't leave my side.

He came from working parents and I think he smelled the farm on us.

We got him home, walked the fenceline and introduced him to all the animals. He has his sleeping kennel set up in the barn where the chickens sleep. I'm just going to keep him kenneled at night until he gets a little bigger, then he'll be free to sleep where he wants. He wasn't happy about going to bed early, but we had tornadoes. I'm just scared to let him out by himself since he's so little. The coyotes here are pretty bad. Along with the bear and mountain lions, I'm afraid he'll get eaten the first night out!

Any tips from the LGD owners about letting the pup out at night?
