Thoughts on frozen peas

I am glad everyone enjoyed by pea post. Felt kind of silly posting it, but so enjoy the ducks and their peas....now as for fresh peas, I grow them, but the ducks will likely never get them. They never make it in the house. I start eating them fresh out of the shell and they never make it out of the garden! Have even tried having my husband pick them....same thing happens!

Sorry, ducks, apparently we have our pea limits in this house. Frozen treats only for you!

I have to admit....I DO love them fresh right out of the pod......it is like candy to me, but frozen.....BLECH!

I WOULD eat them with a duck
But, alas! I haven't because I suck!

My poor attempt at rhyming!

Literally LOL'd when I read "Would you try them with a duck"...so I had to chime in my two cents.

I'm with ya on the peas! In my family we always give them to the teething kids (Along with frozen corn) and called it "Freeze Peas". I can't lie, I still eat 'em.
My ducks all love them! They tie with tomatos on the ducky snack list. (And I like them even better...So much less messy!)

I love pea's and I especially like them with Mac-n-cheeze!

My ducks however are super picky it would seem and turn their beaks to peas.

They have no idea what they are missing out on! lol

What are your thoughts on frozen peas?
Would you, could you tell me please?

It’s not the way I would have chosen,
I would never eat them frozen.
I do so think they suck,
I would only feed them to my duck!
And I will not eat them canned,
That is one method I cannot stand.

If I could beg your pardon,
Will you eat them from your garden?

Oh yes from the pod they pass the test
For that is when peas taste the best.
I eat my peas with honey
I've done it all my life.
It does taste kinda funny
But it keeps them on my knife.
Oh I do love green peas,
Especially mixed with mac-n-cheeze.

Some people say their ducks like them frozen....others said theirs like them thawed....mine like theirs thawed......they only float when frozen, I think.

I just dump the frozen peas into their clean swimming tub in the morning and watch Bobbing for Peas, even my chickens get in on the action.
