Ok, I thought that I had bought Ideal 236 pullets when they were chicks. Come to find out, they aperently were miss marked. I'm pretty sure they are White Sussex? I have never had this breed before. What are y'all a thoughts on them? So far I love them! That are now 5 months old.

Are they good layers?
Mine is a horrible layer because she has a “reproductive defect” (I’ll call it) where she laid only after getting sick. We thought she would never lay because she would jump up into the nest box and pretend to but there was never an egg!🤣 She started laying at almost 10 months! She lays like 3-5 eggs every 2-4 weeks? And they are always wonky! But I think that’s just me!🤣

I named my SS Jacqueline at first too! Then I changed her name to Jewels because I thought that name fitted her better. She has issues too, but it's crop issues.
