Mine is a horrible layer because she has a “reproductive defect” (I’ll call it) where she laid only after getting sick. We thought she would never lay because she would jump up into the nest box and pretend to but there was never an egg!
She started laying at almost 10 months! She lays like 3-5 eggs every 2-4 weeks? And they are always wonky! But I think that’s just me!-Oh, bless her heart! Then I changed her name to Jewels because I thought that name fitted her better. She has issues too, but it's crop issues.
