thoughts on these grey spots on the eggshell?

Didn’t notice it when the egg was first laid, maybe 3 days ago. Then first noticed it last night. Any thoughts appreciated!

Is it ok to eat? And anything we need to do to prevent it?

Should be fine. it is only bad if you tried to hatch it.

Should be fine to eat. If in doubt, crack it in a cup and use smell and sight to determine if there's any issues before using. But I'd probably just crack it right into the pan.
