    I think I see the start of saddle feathers, how old is it.

    That was my thought too, stance, the comb is pretty red, and I think I see hackle feathers too. As for breeds my guess would be brown leghorn mix, maybe with an EE.

    Yup. Thought hen for the last month but it's like overnight the behavior has changed, coloring, stance! Was getting curious!
