thoughts on this fence charger?

You can easily enough set up a larger panel in the future. The panel in the charger has no controller, its direct wired to the battery.

If its not enough, you could pretty easily add more oomph.

I feel the pain some times.

I think the P30 and the Parmak hit about the same. (Yes its seat of the pants.... yes they both hurt like hell)

I think you'll be happy with the charger. I am just not sure how happy you will be with the availability of juice in the winter. If you have clear skies and full sun 1 out of 3 days.... I'd probably try it.

I know my fence charger is AC but it will hurt. Predator here steer clear of my coops and pens. Once they have been zapped they don't try again. Again good luck...
