Thread for those HATCHERS that are starting there count down!

I have chicks set to hatch every week for the next three weeks mainly mutts.
3/19 - 9 eggs from a salmon faveroll rooster and different hens including EE, leghorns, comets and Wyandottes 2 have pipped and one is rocking and talking to beat heck.

3/26- 6 of the above mixes, 3 Modern Game Bantams (originally set 8 but they didn't develop) and two Black Swedish ducks

4/3 - 4 MGB

Today I also collected 6 more duck eggs and 4 bantam eggs that I'll set later this week with either more standard mixes or hopefully more bantams.

Today is officially Day 19 lockdown. I finally got my humidity up to 60%. It has been a stressful day but I am hoping that it will stay steady the next few days. When I removed the egg turner last night 3 of them were rocking. Just hope that the humidity issues and temp spikes didn't hurt them.

Good luck to all of you hatching!

I put 36 in lockdown last night. I candled them, but couldn't tell too much. They all had good air sacks and were dark in the middle. I hope that is a good sign. Temp is holding and humidity is about 70%.
