Three against one isn't fair

Could you try keeping her as a house chicken? Often in situations like this the victim blossoms in personality when safely away from her tormentors. You would become her flock leader and wouldn't be harming her. House chickens are gaining in popularity.
You can check out " people with house chickens." thread

My friend has had house pet chickens for over 25 years, usually bantams but, other breeds as well. Currently she has 2 matronly Serama hens, and one adult silkie hen. Her house dog keeps them safe outdoors (fenced yard). and they stay close by him.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have kept the two most aggressive hens in broody boxes for a couple of days to give the victim a breathing space and am now letting all the hens except her out of the run into the garden as early as I can so that she can have breakfast by herself before going out too. I also plan to take the two peckers to a hen kennels while I am away next week to avoid leaving them all in the run together. I am hoping this will give the victim more time to recover and help break the behaviour .....will post update next month

Hope they come home with a "better attitude" and that poor little picked upon can stick up for herself when she's feeling better. Await some good news with anticipation!

I decided to try separating the worst two peckers from the victim and took them to a boarding kennel for a week but the copper black didn't pick up at all even though she had plenty of food and the hen I left her with was not attacking her at all.
She was so weak and thin that I ended up taking her to a vet who thought she had suffered neurological damage from which she might never recover so I decided to put her out of her misery.
