I am the proud father of my first three chicks. Their parents are IB. The father is split to white and the hen is an unknown split. The three chicks look quite different at two weeks. One is "monotone" light brown, one is a normal looking IB with white flight feathers, and the other is very similar to the second but also has some white on his shoulders. Is it possible for me to have three different colored birds from this pair, none of which are white?

Well if the male and hen are both split to a same color, yes you can get that color.

Now if the peacock was split to purple, peach,or cameo , you could have females in that color.

Without pics, sound like you may have 2 females chicks of one of these. Birds splitwhite will produce chicks some split white ,some not split white. birds split to whites will show some white feathers.

Here are pictures my three little ones. The differences are not as dramatic here as they really are. Thanks, Mitch

Thanks, Lilbit. I am a proud papa! You can almost see their crests growing. They are twice the length they are in these pictures that I took YESTERDAY! Also, compared to turkeys and chickens they are quiet (so far).
