Three day old ducklings . Any ideas of type ?

Well it looks to me that I have eight of the same ducklings. here is a picture of one. There a few days old. Is it to early to tell. A ballpark estimate would be great.




Any help on possible Id would be great

As far as ducks go I'm looking for a breed that has these light color ducklings. Do I look at runner duck breeds as well ? They have a regular duck stance as of now.

Looks like a Pekin.

I got my ducks a day old and 2 were identical to yours from what i can see and i ended up with 1 Pekin and 1 White Muscovy.

How much water do ducklings drink ten ducklings have drank a 1 1/2 quarts of water in eight hours.
Is it ok to give the ducks broiler booster ?

I just remember my ducklings going through alot of water. But they are waterfowl, so I think that's a good thing.

What I struggled with, and what kicks alot of people, is water management. Ducklings need fresh water 24/7, and they splash alot. Tweetysvoice and 70%cocoa have good setups, I think OldGuy43 had some good ideas for his Khaki Campbell girls, do a search on "duckling water" and see what you turn up. They really need water all the time, so something to catch the spills is needed.

And those look like Pekins to me. If they stand upright they're runners, but that's not what they appear to be to me.
