Three month old roo started crowing!

MY 3 month old cockerel has started crowing, bit rusty at moment but trying his best. I thought they didn't start till around 8 months old? Is there anything I can do to stop him as I live on an urbanisation so might have to get rid.

my rooster also started crowing around that time but I don't think there is anything you can do to stop it. there's a rooster surgery I think that stops it but that's all I know of.

I have heard of neck collars, don't know how good they are. Operating seems bit extreme.

Rooster collars would probably be good idea but it only quiets the crows doesn’t stop it completely also I know operation is a bit extreme just the only thing I could think of.

Yeah, I’ve had a three WEEK old cockerel start to crow. Admittedly it was very cute and tiny sounding, but in my experience once they start they won’t stop... it might be intermittent at first, but likely he’ll keep on going...

Ha yea my rooster started young now he’s older and doesn’t shut his mouth but it’s okay I still love him
