I have Silver Appleyard crossed with either buff or F&W runners, and the runner crosses all have some size band around their necks.
I love my babies' lacing too!

I hope it stays throughout their lifetime.
But one other thing - their juvenile wing feathers are all in, and they're starting to molt into their adult plumage, but their wing 'speculum' is gray! Like a dark slate color. I've noticed the color it comes in as juveniles is what it stays as adults (generally) so I'm excited to see if I have a bunch of feathery-legged, gray wing speculum, large crossbred ducks.
Sort of like gold (? correct me if I'm wrong) welsh harlequins in the wing department I guess.
My drake has tiny down feathers on his legs, and he's passed down the genes to his offspring from two different mothers, so I know it's a dominant trait.
