Three pullets ... I hope

The week before Thanksgiving I picked up these three as chicks. The farmer told me they were females. They are starting to grow and I want to make sure they are indeed pullets. The Barred looks like a pullet to me (in my very little experience). But the other two have me wondering. I thought I heard the Buff Orpington attempting to crow. The tail on the Australope is what is calling me into doubt. Also, the Buff and Australope seem to have longer feathers on the back of their heads where the Barred's are smaller. Did I get sold two cockrels and a pullet? Please see pics below.

The australorp looks like a girl, and the white/cream mix looks like a pullet as well. The barred rock is hard to tell as the face is somewhat hidden but looks like there may be saddle feathers?

I'm sorry, but it appears to me that you have 3 cockerels. The white and tan bird is not a buff orpington. It's a cross of some sort. Perhaps a sex link rooster. Sorry.

I am a complete novice, so please don't take what I say to heart, wait for someone with more experience, but I'm thinking they're all roos....
Of the 3, it's the barred I'm most certain about

Your barred rock is most definitely a roo and the white one with red shoulders too. Not positive on the black one but it look's roo to me too.

I would say the BR is a roo. I still think the others could be girls...My thoughts: the BR has saddle feathers-I dont see any signs of saddle feathers on the other two? And can't see much for hackle feathers on the other two. And I agree the white isnt a BO-however its very pretty!!!! The black ones wattles are big for a girl but then again, if you could see some of my hens combs/wattles you would swear they were just "boys laying eggs!!" lol

They are all mixed breeds and unforunately all are boys also.

Fortunately they are all very beautiful.

Bummer ... thank you for the help. These are my first three chickens. I have contacted the farmer to see if he will make it right. City ordinance will not allow me to have roos, but I can have hens. The Austroloupe and the NOT-BO often act like roos, at least to my thinking. They are often squaring off and raising the hackels on the back of their neck. I haven't seen this behavior from the BR. This is what got me to wondering in the first place.

So I guess my gut was right, almost ( 2 out of 3).
