I noticed today that my three week old chick has a crooked toe on both feet, one is worse than the other. Here is a pictures. I'm not sure if she broke her toe or if its something else. The other chicks are fine. They freak out every time I try to clean them and feed them. I have read some people use splints with bandaids. Any suggestions would be great. thanks.

i have a six week old bantam...has the same thing...i am thinking too old to fix tho...i think we were supposed to do the band-aid splint thingy when they are a day or two old...but dunno fer sure

hopefully someone more experienced will reply

I had my son hold my baby chick and I used a business card folded the end in twice to cover the bottom and sides of her toe. I had some first aid bandage that I wraped around her toe to hold it in place. Now I hope it works. I see some people leave the brace on for three day or a week. I gave the girls vitamines in there water although I have been doing that off and on. Hope things work out for your little chick. My chick seemed to just started having her toes problem. Why not just try to do the splint thing any how and see if it works. It could work.
