throat tuft on coturnix

I have one coturnix roo with a throat tuft. it hangs down like a side burn...kinda elvis like lol. Is it a bad thing ...I'd like to give him his own hen in hopes of hatching out elvis quail but if it is a bad genetic trait I won't....other than the look of it ,I really don't see how it would be bad. Really a technical retard or I'd post a pic.
