Those are nice spotted eggs.
I'm sorry you had snow today we had temperatures in the lower 70's today.
Thanks. I had issues with my standard coop during a routine spur trimming yesterday.

Lucky, we need temps like that.

Was cleaning the mixed flock coop today, boy there's alot of poop in there this time. Didn't get the chance to give them their fall cleaning last year, so they're getting a thorough spring cleaning. Gotta finish cleaning their coop tomorrow. First time I've ever had a coop take two days to clean.

Garden is gonna be happy this year.

Starting to smell better in there now. Smell of dirt, is better then wet, thawed out poop. The poop was frozen for awhile.

Gonna finish up that coop today, & it's also raining. How fun.

Gonna clean the brooders after this coop is cleaned out, got turkeys coming in, in April.

After that we can clean the other coops up, & bring the smaller one over to build, so I can begin breeding.

Lots of stuff to do.

Got 2 friends who I need to hatch chicks for first.

Friend #1. Malays(Hatching 5, keeping back 2 pullets, giving them the remaining 3)

Friend #2. Easter Eggers, Silkies, & a few random mixed breeds.

Yeah, my coop needs a good cleaning too. Not that I haven't cleaned it since fall, but they just make it so messy so fast! Lots of birds in that coop, plus it gets worse in the winter when they are locked up a lot more. I plan to set Columbian Wyandotte eggs tomorrow for the Easter HAL. I have 17 so far.

The mixed flock coop didn't get the fall cleaning like they were supposed too, so it took 2 days to clean. I'll get pictures later

17 eggs, that's good. How many are you planning to set?
