What is the ratio for tiagard when added to food? I have a hen with respiratory issues. Through hot sauce, and her own personal vendetta against another hen, I was able to keep her stable until the tia gard came. I added it to water with juice BUT I am not 100% that she is drinking THAT water. I can't keep her away from snowmelt and I can't get my hands on a syringe at the moment. Water also freezes at night and I don't know how that effects the meds. I was thinking of adding it to food such as baked beans, rice, or oatmeal. If I do this what is the ratio?

Tiagard and Denagard 12.5% tastes bad. It is nirmally given in the water. You could give it orally or if she will eat it, in a very small amount of food. Read post 3 below for info about directly dosing the chicken:

The problem with direct dosing is she has learned that's what I'm up to from when I gave her hot sauce, her symptoms are less severe but obviously it isn't as good as meds, and I don't have help to administer it or syringe. My ability to leave the house is limited. I saw the dilution charts but they are all for water and not watery food.

Thank you.

In your case, I would just give it orally0.09 ml per pound. If she weighs 3 pounds, that would be 0.27 ml, or 5 pounds, 0.45 ml which is a very minute amount. It might be better to let her drink and eat before each dose. Tylosin powder is another antibiotic added to water 1 tsp per gallon used to treat MG in chickens. That might be better tolerated.
