The next morning, another wolf showed up near the training area. She was small and slender, almost exactly like Jao with a black pelt and streaks of grey and silver in her fur. She was young, a few years younger then Jao and a bit shorter with soft fur and a narrow face. Her pawsteps were light, almost delicate as she picked her way across the clearing towards Jao, Terrik and The Shadow.
 
One of the civilians of The Dimension of Time was trying to pass through the gates, leading to the portal, although the guards wouldn't let him. Natalya sighed, exhasperated.
 
Lona, another mason, opened her mouth to say something, but The Shadow silenced her with a hiss. "You seem to know Jao. May I ask how? Then maybe, just maybe, we could give you a position without a fight..." The Shadow drawled.
 
Jao turned his gaze towards her slightly "She looks like me. Thats all." He shrugged casually, then his voice turned slightly sarcastic as his annoyance shone through "Wouldn't you be surprised if someone who looked almost exactly like you showed up randomly?"

The Shadow cocked a brow. "Don't get all arrogent with me!" She snapped. "Maia, I will have Lona test you."

(( Lona's just a regular wolf, no powers or wings or anything. ))
