Ok so this friday my girls will be 19 weeks old we just ran out of food so I send DH to the feed store to pick up layer pellets.. oh the excitement... (yes sometimes I do get easily excited)

Getting the nest boxes all cleaned up with fresh pine shavings. Any other advice on the nest box material???

My only suggestion would be to keep some pine shavings in reserve, they will scratch it out over time. They like to get their nest "just right" and inevitable scratch/work it out.
