Time to Build Permanent Coop!!!

Slowing but surely! Got the wire tacked up today. Doors built and painted. Gonna try to wrap this thing up!!!

So I made a couple small doors to make a little chick area under coop!

Got the cupla installed and ridge cap installed too!!!

It’s official!! Got the girls moved in!!

Made a must change to the egg hatch. Had to flip hinges so door drops down making it much easier to collect eggs. (I know I need straw for nesting box. Didn’t have any, getting some tomorrow)

Is that the only door?

I assume this is functional, open to the coop with more area than the ridge slit?

Very pretty coop.

I have never regretted switching to a drop-down egg door.

I use shavings in my nests without any problems.
