I have 3 week old baby chicks and I found what looks like a lot of red in their poo from last night. Picture attached. Everyone is acting normal though. If I give them Corid, should it be the treatment or preventative dose? And should it be available to everyone?

Also, I saw one of my hens regurgitate saliva and then she started eating right after that. Not sure what's going on with her.. she's acting normal otherwise too.. I didn't get a chance to check her crop this morning so I'm not sure if it's impacted.

I wormed the adult chickens with Valbazen last Tuesday and was going to give them a second dose on Friday. Will it be okay to worm them and give them Corid at the same time?

I suggest you just keep an eye on things for now.

The red in the otherwise normal poop is intestinal lining. It's normal to see it once in a while, but not consistently. If it persists and increases in amount, then that may indicate a problem. Right now, it's not.

Chickens regurgitate fluid from time to time, and it too is normal. But keep an eye on the chicken that did it. Especially, you want to check her crop in the morning before she eats and drinks to see if it has completely emptied overnight. If it hasn't, then she could be developing a crop issue.

Watch all chickens for any behavior changes. Any chicken that is getting ready to come down sick will behave lethargically, almost zombie-like. That will alert you to look for other symptoms.
