If she doesn't like the rain, have you tried sprinkling her with the garden hose? I know when my girls get sprinkled if I am watering or something they go running.

She is definately a mutt. I saw a polish red pullet in the Agway buy me and they look similar but are not the same. Tina has bright green legs, I believe pure bred polish have blue legs....and she is sleek and clean but is about the size and shape of my Wellies while the polish hens I saw at agway are very petite compare to her. She mixes in very well with my Wellies, almost the same color, a bit brighter red but her behaviors are totally different, she is like a road runner compared to the others. She is very skidderish but is warming up to us, very alert to her environment. You can tell she was out on her own for a while, she has not been accepted by the flock yet, they are still pecking at her, but she so wants to be with them.. kinda sweet to watch.
