Tiny duckling not eating

He has a mirror and small stuffed chicken, so I’ll hopefully try to find another duckling his size sometime soon

He did poop a few times last night, so I went ahead and put him to bed in the carrier I was going to keep him in until I could find a place to hook up the heat lamp.
at around 12:30 am I noticed that he was being quiet, and I felt like something was wrong so I coughed to see if he would move a bit or peep, he didn’t so I went to check on him. He was somewhat alive, but not moving much or making any sound. So I took him out and offered him water, he didn’t take it or any food. He had managed to warm up some, though. So I put him back knowing that he probably wouldn’t make it.I remembered how the lady that gave him to me told me that no one there had thought he would make through the night before but he had. But this morning, I realized that at least he got to die peacefully and comfortably at a place that wasn’t a cold and quiet store. RIP Grande
