So my husband went to bake me a cake for Mothers day using our home hens eggs. I have two Americanas that have only been laying for about a month now. After cracking several, he goes to crack another one to find a tiny egg, shell and all inside the egg! I've heard of double yolks, but never of a whole egg with shell inside another egg. Anyone heard of this? Is it super uncommon? Should I be concerned for the health of my hen? I haven't cracked the tiny egg. It feels hard and heavy, possibly even solid.
