TINY egg. We're talking PENNY SIZED...!!?

In the photo, there is a penny (for reference) next to a TINY EGG next to an average chicken egg.

WHAT??!!


I'm guessing it's from my new layer, but I've never had such a tiny egg. I am 100% sure this was layed by a chicken. I barely spotted it in the nest box!!


Very interesting. What are your thoughts?

Adorable! Fairy eggs are so cute! I've never gotten one personally.

If it were me I'd blow it out and keep it.

A few years back, I got an egg that was a little bit smaller than a quarter, bigger than the one pictured above. I tried hatching that egg, but it never hatched It was worth a shot

I would blow it out and preserve it. They are not that common.

Fart egg! We got one a few weeks ago from our hen Zippy that was about that size.
