My hens would occasionally lay a tiny egg like this, and most had tiny yolks, but some didn’t.

Some of my older hens laid these when they were newer layers. None of those eggs ever had yolks. Is it weird that I'm kinda jealous?My hens would occasionally lay a tiny egg like this, and most had tiny yolks, but some didn’t.
HahaYou HAVE to keep that egg!!!!
I got one of these from my (huge) red sex links! Not that small, but really small compared to what they usually lay.View attachment 2869595
In the photo, there is a penny (for reference) next to a TINY EGG next to an average chicken egg.
WHAT??!!
I'm guessing it's from my new layer, but I've never had such a tiny egg. I am 100% sure this was layed by a chicken. I barely spotted it in the nest box!!
Very interesting. What are your thoughts?
@Eggcessive
Make a little hole at each end of the egg and blow hard through one hole with the egg over a bowl the innards will flop into the bowl . Be careful though as the shell will crack if you squeeze it too hard! You can then dry it and keep it (and use the contents if there is anything there )How would you do that?
