good morning everyone, I have a new question and everyone here has been extremely helpful with me finding answers. In addition to all the meat birds we have we also have flock of buff Brahmas and some Americaunas. One of my Brahmas has a tendency to lay some very small eggs and I was wondering what causes this. We feed them egg laying pellets, scratch (organic grain), occasionally mill worms and crickets as treats and put vitamins in their water. We have a small 8X8 coop we keep them in and we let them roam the yard during the day. The Americaunas have a separate coop.
Thanks for y'alls time and hopefully I can get this fixed, it's taking to many eggs to make an omelet.

My hens have occasionally laid what I call a "tiny" egg but not on a regular basis. It sounds like you are doing everything right and have a good environment for your hens. If the hen is young, she may become more "regular". Hoping someone can help you here, I wouldn't consider this a medical problem at this point.:frow
