Hey all,
Does anyone know or seen these super tiny bugs in the picture? I have their food available in a 5 gallon bucket with two 3" 90's sticking out. This morning I opened the lid and saw what looked like sawdust on the top lip of the bucket and then noticed that it was moving. A closer inspection showed that the things were just about everywhere. They're the same color as the food when all bunched together.
Thoughts/ideas/suggestions? I'm in Georgia and it is and has been quite hot and humid also. I know you can't really see the bugs in the pic but the little specs on the black rim are actually moving.

A week ago I bought a new bag of feed and also installed a fan in the run of the coop. Could it be from the feed or is it a symptom of the hot, humid weather?

From the research I’ve done, it’s the hot and humid weather. England is currently going through a massive heat wave, my bins were not ventilated, grain mites became an issue. I found them easy to get on top of though

I think grain mites too. Have you checked the mill date on every bag of feed? It should be within four weeks, not older. Do you dump out your container and rinse it between bags of feed? If it's old feed, it's an issue from the feed store. If it's from your feeder, clean it out!
