TINY Mystery Egg!

Just stumbled upon this thread! What a great story!
Before I ever heard of "fart eggs" I found a tiny egg (and I mean tiny, no bigger than a dime) in my bantie coop. I had no clue what it was, so I got rid of it. Now, I wish I would have tried to let it hatch out.
I can't wait to see what hatches out of your newest fart egg!
I hope it goes well & Pippin has a buddy!

There are dwarf chickens. I believe Japanese bantams are dwarf as well as any of the creepers. I have some Easter Eggers that are creepers. They look like normal bodied hens but on very short legs. Some dwarf chickens have no comb or wattles to speak of. Now that I think of it, the Easter Eggers have no combs or wattles.

Yay Chicks! :

I've also seen them posted as 'fairy eggs' which sounds a whole lot sweeter if you're talkin' a new breed

The whole Hobbit theme is quite terrific too...

Fairy chickens and the fable of the ugly duckling seem to fit Perhaps we are going to witness the beautiful swan/chicken!

Thanks for the updated photo's. Pippin seems to be doing great, and the fact that she had a growth spurt tells me she's a happy bird. I like Fairy Eggs too instead of the regular Fart Egg expression. Thanks again!

Thats kind of funny the ugly duckling/ swan story was brought up, I was just going to say she could perhaps turn out to be a story of "The ugly chickling!" LoL
