Perking up that's great!! aww I bet a bath will do wonders.
Tiny duck is really cute! You will have to watch that she is able to compete for food as time goes on and doesn't get trampled by the others... Hope she makes it!
It seems like, though tiny and a little ragged, she is showing good signs with drinking and moving around! All my fingers are crossed!
I cleaned her up a bit with a warm sponge. She had a lot to say about it. Going to try offering egg tonight. But the egg is almost as big as they are! So very tiny. I am super surprised at how tiny they are!
So I was looking at tiny duck. She seems to be missing down on her face.
She isn’t interested in food yet but at least she is sipping water.
Here is her face.
She's so black can't even see her face well.
They are bantam ducks right? I have bantam chickens so it's easy to find an egg mine can gobble up.
Yes they will be slightly bigger than call ducks. I gave them about a teaspoon they other two gobbled it up. They even got to play with the big waterer.
Gave tiny duck another dibble of nutra-drench and a little dribble of b complex.
I lost tiny duck over the night. I am very sad I lost her but it was not unexpected. I still have the two other babies which are going strong.
I am so sorry. She really had a rough start and all you can do is be supportive. You did all you could.
