I just adopted 6 babies for my poor mama who sat forever and didn't hatch anything. She took to them quickly, yesterday was her first day and all was well. I let the other chickens roost in with her, and left the door open to the enclosed yard for them. This morning there was a tiny little egg in there! An egg the size of those larger candy robin eggs. I am totally confused! Did something else get in or did one of my hens lay a tiny egg? It is light brown like some of the regular sized eggs I get but this has never happened before. Sooo bizarre! Other than that there are no other strange things going on. Maybe my birds are playing an April fools trick on me! ha ha ha

Sometimes they lay 'fart' eggs. It's about the size of a quarter. I was just looking at my prevous topics and came across my topic with a photo. Normal.. generally no yolk in them.
