Does anyone know anything about this “bantam” breed? All three yellow chicks I have were labeled bantam, two of them are growing, this one is the same exact size as he was the day I got him, he drinks, eats & plays. He just isn’t growing? Also his wings are very very different than the other chicks? Split? I’m not sure. Can someone educate me on the breed of bantam I have ? I just want him to be happy and this little one just gets under every other bird to sleep. They’re all about 3 weeks old

As far as the bantam label, that just distinguishes small chick breeds from standard sized chicks, it isn't a breed, just a size description.

Looks like failure to thrive. Most of mine end up with the large wings and tiny body

I wish I could help, but it probably is a little runt chick. Do you see it eating and drinking? Is it pooping or having any pasty butt? I would dip it’s beak into the food and water, and give some Poultry NutriDrench 3 drops a day orally very slowly. Try feeding some egg yolk and mushy wet feed. Make sure they are not trampling it.
