While cleaning out the coop (We use hay) I found these worms. I am relatively new to raising chickens so this has me worrying. Are they harmful to the chickens? Could the chickens have worms now? I've been debating on switching bedding because of how nasty the hay gets so quickly. Any suggestions or information on these worms and how to solve the problem is appreciated.

I can't tell because I am on a tiny tablet because we have a lightning storm right now. Don't quote me but kinda looks like larvae. I will look at pic in a bit when of is safe to turn on my PC..

I thought maggots too but the first pic is a little off. A just saw in another thread that hay attracts insects so that could be the issue. Maggots won't hurt your chickens - they're just really gross!
