Tips and tricks on keeping one pet hen inside my bedroom?

My parents are Magicians, I grew up raising DOVES (it was my chore), they are a very easy pet to keep and are very tame. Good choice! Are you sure that's not a JAVA DOVE? They are all white.

Thank you everyone for your advice! I have decided to skip keeping a hen indoors.

I have settled on this white ringneck dove instead. It's bigger than a parakeet and there is hardly any mess or smell.

When I was at the feed store, they had coturnix quails too. Would they make okay pets indoors since they are way smaller than chickens?

What a cutie! I've found that cots are decent indoor pets, but still have a more significant smell and noise than their smaller cousins, the Chinese painted or button quail. Those are very much indoor pets, especially for people with cold weather.
