This thread has a link to a pictorial tutorial for the same bag style. I'm a visual person so pictures help.

Since some local stores are starting to charge for grocery bags, it's nice to have a sturdy bag for toting all those important purchases.

Good idea, I have been hanging on to my feed bags for some time now. Now I have a plan.
One thing I noticed is that the top sealer strip is also woven material, so I'm going to use them to make handles.

Another project can be gym bag style totes. I used to make them from the vinyl leftover from cut-outs when cars had vinyl tops. I'll have to dig out my pattern for it.

BTW, I'm a male seamstress. So no smart alec comments, eh?

I am collecting all sorts of feed bags because of the pictures or the colors. So far I have pink horse, pink cat and pretty deer. Gonna be a nice winter project.

Called everywhere looking for the pink purina bags. None of the feed stores here sell purina. BOOOOO!!
