I completely agree with this, I am not insinuating I think my chickens should be allowed to browse on their land or enter their garage unwelcomed. I'm simply saying that they indicated previously they enjoyed having them over and were purposely feeding them cat treats. Now that this has become a nuisance obviously it is more difficult because they have learned to go over there and be rewarded by food and treats that had actually been offered by said neighbors. We now are left trying to un-do what was initiated by the neighbors themselves.Mutual respect means keeping your things on your property, and your neighbor keeping their things on theirs'. The cat food in the garage may be an attractive nuisance to your little dinosaurs, but its the neighbor's cat food, in the neighbor's garage, on the neighbor's land. You and your birds have no right to it - and if you feel your bird's five acres is inadequate, the solution is to buy more land, not take the use of your neighbors!
Put up the fence/netting. or wing clip. or both.
